Tomatillos are harvested once their green fruit has grown inside of its outer parchment pouch. The fruit inside have an exquisite sweet and sour flavour combination. They are a great addition to salsa and for cooking Mexican cuisine. The plants are just about the easiest you can grow and are extremely prolific.
This is a great all around heirloom tomatillo variety, adaptable to any home organic vegetable garden.
