Description
Leaves are unique for their variegated appearance with deep green centres and yellow borders. Pink flowers add to its eye catching look! Has a dense, low growing habit and is perfect for rock gardens. Like standard lemon thyme, this variety can be used in the kitchen. Plant in sandy, well drained soil in full sun. Thyme is typically low maintenance, but will need to be trimmed back after flowering to encourage a bushy growth. Sensitive to over watering, as thyme is susceptible to fungal diseases and root rot. Harvest in the morning, just before flowering as concentrations of aromatic oils are highest at this time.
