Lavender – Munstead Strain

Beautiful and especially hardy!

Coming Soon

Beautiful and especially hardy! Lavender-blue flower spikes are bluer and earlier in bloom time than most other varieties! Aromatic narrow green foliage with a compact mounding growth habit. Like any other variety, Munstead Lavender must be located in full sun and planted in well drained alkaline sandy soil, ideally in a raised bed or rock garden as it is prone to root rot if conditions are too wet. Perfect for borders, rock gardens, containers and as mass plantings.  Bloom time July and onwards. Height 12-18 inches. Zone 4-9, so if in a sheltered space MAY come back the following year.
